Councils of Faculty Groups
The University of Belgrade has the following Academic Councils of the related Faculties and Institutes that are parts of the University:
- General Board of Bio-technical Sciences
- General Board of Social Sciences and Humanities
- General Board of Medical Sciences
- General Board of Sciences and Mathematics
- General Board of Technical Sciences
The members of The Councils are the full professors of the respective Faculties and scientific advisors of the respective Institutes, of each group.
The number of members and the structure of the Councils of certain groups of Faculties, as well as the scope of activities, the Council work management and the duration of the term of office of its members are determined by the regulations enacted by the University Senate.
The Academic Councils of the Groups of Faculties:
- prepare the respective Faculties’ curricula proposals that need to be approved by the University Senate,
- state its opinion to the University Senate on the competence of the respective Faculties,
- state its opinion on the parts of scientific research programs funded by the Republic, and
- perform other duties established by the general University acts.
